These candlesticks were designed in 1952. They are 10¾” high and are made of silver and studded with garnet stones.

They are simple and geometrical forms, in the shape of cones upon round bases and topped with wide receptacles for the candles. The contrast between the silver surfaces; some polished and bright, some oxidized and black; endow these candlesticks with a sort of mysterious glamor. The filigree work employed in these pieces is quite intricate and outstanding.
