Daniel Torah Pointer

This Torah pointer was designed in 1990. It is 8” long and made of sterling silver.

A diminutive pointer is employed when the Torah is read out in synagogue, as it is considered sacrilegious to touch the parchment of the Torah scroll with bare fingers, yet the reader needs to keep track of his place in the portion being read for the particular week of the year. This piece is embellished with bands of filigree and two filigree lotus flowers.
